Head of Change Delivery
Job summary
The postholder will be directly accountable to the Deputy Director of the Victim Transformation Programme and will be responsible for the design, management and control of the Universal and Enhanced Service pilots; their national rollout and – ultimately - transition into business as usual.
The pilots aim to deliver an improved service for victims of crime, through better, direct communication between the CPS and victims. The Universal Service offers a service to all adult victims who interact with the CPS, whilst the Enhanced Service is piloting a higher level of communications and support to victims of domestic abuse.
In both pilots, working closely with other partners within the criminal justice system is critical to providing a high quality service to victims.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a major programme of reform which has a direct impact on victims of crime.
We are looking to appoint someone with excellent operational knowledge of CPS, who is skilled, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic and has the confidence to communicate and engage with stakeholders and staff at all levels.
The Crown Prosecution Service is based in England and Wales. If you’re applying for this role and live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you must let us know when accepting this offer as you need permission to work from your home address if hybrid working is part of your role. There’s no guarantee that we will grant this approval.
You must be aged 16 before starting in this role. The start date is expected to be 8-12 weeks after the application deadline.
As part of this role, you are expected to undertake direct line management responsibilities.
If you’re a current Crown Prosecution Service employee, you remain based at your permanent office location throughout the post. You’re expected to travel to the temporary office at least 40% of your contracted hours over a four-week period – travel and subsistence may be applicable. If you have any questions, please contact Ellie.Dixon@cps.gov.uk.
