Vac Description

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated Head of Curriculum & Quality SEND Manager to lead and manage a team of teachers and support staff within our SEND provision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of programmes across the curriculum, ensuring they align with key performance indicators (KPIs), the College’s strategic priorities, and the mission of both the College and the Council.

The postholder will lead, contribute to, and drive the improvement, growth, and development of our SEND curriculum. They will play a key role in ensuring the sustainability and delivery of allocated curriculum areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development, growth, and sustainability of a viable SEND curriculum, with a focus on driving improvements across the allocated areas and contributing to the overall success of the College.
  • Ensuring quality control in allocated areas by managing Tutors, Assessors, and IQAs (including sessional tutors), and supporting them to consistently deliver exceptional learning experiences.
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with employers, community organisations, and other stakeholders to support the Curriculum Mission and Vision, the College’s Strategic Plan, and the Council’s Corporate Plan.

Looking ahead, we are entering a transformative phase with an exciting new College site currently being developed on the High Street. We are looking for a dedicated HR professional to help support, shape, and grow the College as we move into this new chapter.
