Drapers’ Academy is looking for an ambitious Head of Science to join our experienced and committed science Faculty. Applicants will have significant and relevant middle leader experience and a proven track record of raising achievement.

The Head of Science will:

• Lead, develop and line manage the Science faculty, through a skilled approach that supports and challenges the team

• Monitor, evaluate and continually improve the quality of planning, teaching and assessment of all members of the Science team

• Model outstanding teaching and lead collaborative planning and development, including the sharing of resources and best practice within the department

• Be responsible for tracking pupil progress across the faculty and analysing data to make appropriate changes to the curriculum and intervention strategies
