Patcham Junior School is a friendly and popular school located in Patcham, a distinct community on the outskirts of Brighton. Our school is a happy, high-performing community with strong foundations.
Our headteacher, after 9 years leading the school, is moving onwards & upwards to inspire & encourage more children elsewhere.
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader, who will embrace everything that makes Patcham a welcoming, vibrant school.
Paid weeks per year: 52
Start date: September 2026
About the role
We are looking for a leader who:-
- has at least 3 years experience in a senior leadership team in a Primary or Junior School
- has worked in at least 2 schools.
- will lead with integrity
- will inspire excellence in teaching, and passion and curiosity in all learners
- will build strong partnerships with pupils, families, staff, governors
- will continue to strengthen our inclusive, ambitious & caring culture
- will drive continuous improvement while celebrating what already makes our school special
We are looking for someone with the skills, experience, and personality to lead our school through its next exciting chapter.
Post: Full time, Permanent
Pay Scale: Leadership L14 – L20, £71,330 - £82,654
