Due to the retirement of our long-standing Headteacher, the children, parents and staff of Dee Point Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated successor who has a sense of humour, is kind and caring who will embody our values and ethos and lead our welcoming, diverse, community school.
The successful candidate must be able to maintain and enhance the existing strengths of the school, whilst bringing the drive and vision necessary to lead the school into its next exciting chapter. The new Headteacher will bring fresh perspectives to the role, taking into account both local and national strategies.
We are a highly regarded school within our community and are looking for a current Headteacher who is looking for a new challenge, or a Deputy/Assistant Headteacher who is looking for their first headship. The successful candidate will continue to:
Continue the strong links with the community and parents: Continuing the sense of belonging, inclusion and collaboration among staff, pupils and parents.
Inspire a Passion for Education: Cultivating a love of learning, both inside and outside the classroom, with an emphasis on modern, effective teaching methods.
Empower Staff: Leading by example and providing clear guidance and support to help all staff improve their practice and elevate standards across the school.
Drive Results: Ensuring that every child, at every level, both mainstream and with our Resource Provision achieves success based on their individual strengths, talents and aspirations.
Demonstrate Strategic Leadership: Leading the development of a clear and inspiring vision for the school’s future, working alongside all members of the school community to implement the strategy, through curriculum-led financial planning to ensure effective use of budget and resources.
