1Leisure is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Health & Fitness Instructor to join our friendly and professional teams at 1Leisure The Heights & Medina Leisure Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to help people of all ages and abilities improve their health, wellbeing and fitness in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Based within our busy Tone Zone Gyms, you'll deliver gym inductions, fitness assessments and tailored exercise programmes, while providing expert advice, motivation and outstanding customer service on the gym floor. You'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for members, from complete beginners to experienced gym users.

You'll also support participants within our Exercise Referral Scheme, helping individuals with a range of health conditions safely increase their activity levels, improve their wellbeing and build long-term healthy habits. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to people's lives through exercise and physical activity.

We're looking for someone with a confident, outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

A Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification is essential, and experience in gym instruction, fitness programming, coaching or the leisure industry would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be required to achieve a Level 3 Exercise Referral qualification within their first 12 months in the role.
