Our Team:
Working within the Public Health Directorate, the Health Improvement Team provide a variety of services to the residents of Halton, encouraging and facilitating them to make healthier lifestyle choices. This includes the creation and delivery of training sessions to both residents and businesses across the borough.
Hours: 37 per week
Your Contributions:
As a Health Improvement Specialist – Training Development, your focus will be supporting the health and wellbeing of the people of Halton by developing and delivering training sessions throughout the borough. This will include the design and creation of training sessions for the public, as well as income-generating training sessions to be delivered in workplaces and organisations. You will also develop and maintain public health information and support structures, ensuring staff and community groups receive training (where required) to enable them to work across the community. You will continue this support by working with Health Champions to deliver health improvement information and campaigns.
