Job summary
At the ORR we oversee how National Highways manages and upgrades England's motorways and major A-roads, ensuring it delivers better outcomes for road users through its asset management and capital investment projects.We are looking for a Highways Analyst to join the ORR’s Highways Monitor team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a small, agile, expert team that delivers at pace across a range of policy, economics, safety, performance and capital delivery areas.
Job description
We are looking for someone with a range of skills and experience to support our work monitoring, challenging and reporting on National Highways’ performance. Your decisions could influence a company responsible for £24 billion of investment and affecting millions of daily journeys. You will develop knowledge of performance areas and work closely with other members of the team when supporting larger cross-team pieces of work. You will gain experience pushing National Highways on delivering its targets and play a key role in producing and publishing our annual assessment of National Highways’ performance in Parliament. You will also help shape how we publish data in the future by managing and developing online performance dashboards.Person specification

Additional Information
At ORR, our hybrid working means that we currently work from our workplace location a minimum of 40% of our working week, although requirements to attend other offsite locations for official business, also count towards this level of attendance. Working arrangements are subject to continuous review.
