We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of History to join our department at a time of exciting transformational change. You'll be part of shaping a refreshed curriculum, engaging pupils across KS3 and KS4, and supporting our journey to achieve outstanding outcomes. Inspiring students through history means giving them the tools to understand the world-and the courage to change it! Whether you're an experienced teacher or a strong ECT, you'll have the opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and make a real difference to our students' learning.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience of teaching History in a UK secondary school setting
- Be committed to inclusive and inspiring teaching that supports all learners
- Share our high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attitude to learning

Firth Park Academy is a vibrant, mixed secondary school for students aged 11-16, proudly rated Good by Ofsted in April 2024. Located in Shiregreen, Sheffield, we serve around 1,200 pupils and reflect a richly diverse community, with more than a third of students speaking English as an additional language.
