Pay Grade: Grade 4 Spinal Point 10-15
Salary: £31,611 - £33,987 (full time amount) £22,633 - £24,334 p.a. (pro rata amount)
Hours: 30 hours per week(6 hours per day, 8:30am - 3:30pm with 1 hour lunch)
Contract: Fixed Term
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our SEND Provision Base. In the morning, you will support pupils who are in Key Stage 1, working at EYFS Level. In the afternoon, you will provide additional SEND support. This will be on a fixed term contract.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and has experience supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will play a central role in creating a safe, structured and supportive environment where pupils can thrive both academically and emotionally.
The successful candidate will lead group sessions, lessons and targeted interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo, adapting provision to meet pupils’ individual learning, communication and emotional needs. They will also monitor and report on pupil progress and contribute to effective communication with families and external professionals to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
Applicants do not need to currently hold HLTA status; however, a willingness to work towards HLTA accreditation is essential.
