Contract Type: FTC until 30th September 2026 – Full Time – 35 Hours

Salary: £28,886 per annum to £31,876 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 6

Reporting Office: Manchester, Trafford

Working Location: Nexus, Manchester, Trafford

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Closing Date: 12th January 2026 – 23:00

Join our Housing Management Team at L&Q:

Would you like to join our revamped Housing Management Team as a Home Moves Co-Ordinator and help us to deliver an excellent service for residents? This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is a customer-focused team player who wants to make a difference.

As a Home Moves Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of empty homes and facilitating all aspects of the lettings service.

We are looking for applicants who are passionate in delivering excellent customer service to everyone they interact with, whether this be existing or prospective residents, or internal and external colleagues, partners and stakeholders.You will work as part of the Home Moves Team based in Trafford, Manchester, interacting closely with the Empty Property Team and Trafford Councils rehousing team to deliver a seamless and effective lettings experience to customers and residents.

Your impact in the role:

The individual must be self-motivated and confident in taking ownership of letting empty properties within agreed timescales whilst adhering to policies and procedures. The ability to produce results, work to tight deadlines and deal with a demanding workload means that the successful candidate needs to be able to work under pressure and prioritise their work effectively.

We are looking for someone who is used to working in a demanding customer facing environment, has great attention to detail and a desire to help residents with their housing needs-experience of working in lettings and allocations is desirable but not essential.

What you'll bring:

  • Please note, a full driving license and access to a car for work purposes are essential for this role
  • Good at building relationships with people and be able to communicate well with colleagues and residents.
  • Able to problem solve and will pride yourself on your grit and determination. You’ll have a can-do attitude and be motivated by keeping the promises you make.
  • Excellent time management skills along with the ability to manage different priorities whilst adhering to important deadlines.
  • Committed to the provision of excellent customer service and be able to show initiative in a busy office environment while working as part of a team.
  • Organised, flexible and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of using Microsoft office packages is also essential.
