An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Household Support Officer to join our team within the Council Housing Service.
We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated individuals with experience of working with households, providing targeted support, building their engagement, and improving their overall health and wellbeing.
Applicants will have significant experience in assessing, planning, and delivering support to households facing multiple barriers, and have the ability to co-ordinate and manage a caseload and monitor, report and record accurately and in a timely manner.
We would like to hear from applicants who possess the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities, and can demonstrate an enthusiasm and determination to achieve positive outcomes.
This post is 18.5 hours per week, hybrid working 2.5 days per week between Monday to Friday, based at the Council’s offices at Morecambe or Lancaster Town Hall, and combined with home working.
A full current UK driving licence is essential, as the post holder will be required to work across the district. As a result, you will be required to sign up to the authorised external DVLA driving licence validation organisation that we use to manage and monitor our employees driving licence data. Reasonable adjustments can be made for those who are unable to drive due to a disability.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
