Location: Various sheltered schemes and housing offices across Havering

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 28.8 hours per week (including work outside normal office hours)
Grade: 1 /2 - £28221- 29435 pro rata
About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Housekeeper to join our Housing Services team. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our sheltered schemes and housing offices, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning internal and external communal areas to a high standard
- Reporting repairs, incidents, and issues promptly
- Supporting the team with office cleaning duties
- Promoting a positive image of the service to the local community
You’ll work closely with the Sheltered Scheme Officer and contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service, helping us put our residents first.
About You
You’ll be someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of creating clean, safe, and pleasant environments for others. You’ll be flexible, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with the public
- Can carry out practical cleaning duties and follow health & safety regulations
- Is approachable and responsive to residents’ needs
- Can handle conflict calmly and professionally
- Is willing to work outside normal office hours and across multiple locations

Salary range
- £28,221 - £29,435 per year
