About the Role

Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference to local communities? Join us as a Housing Development Assistant and play a key part in delivering high-quality homes and regeneration projects across the borough.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Housing Development Team, supporting the delivery of new build, mixed-use, and refurbishment schemes that improve lives and create vibrant neighbourhoods.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in managing and delivering housing development projects.
  • Identify development opportunities within existing housing stock.
  • Provide excellent customer service, offering advice and solutions to residents.
  • Maintain accurate project records, risk logs, and trackers.
  • Co-ordinate handovers and monitor defects during the 12-month period.
  • Organise public relations events for new developments and support marketing activities.
  • Prepare reports for governance meetings and assist with grant funding applications.
