Contract Type: Permanent – Full Time – 35 hours
Salary: £32,188 per annum to £35,593 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience, plus ECU* allowance (if policy requirements are met)
Grade: 7
Reporting Office: Manchester, Trafford
Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)
Working Location: Trafford/ Lancashire,Cheshire East/West, Preston and other North West locations as our new buildportfolio expands
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday

Would you like to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer (Housing Officer) and help us to deliver an excellent service for residents? This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is a customer-focused team player who wants to make a difference.
Your Impact in the Role:
- Delivering a responsive, efficient, agile, high quality and customer focused housing management service. To complete the day-to-day Housing Management function, ensuring the delivery of reliable, repeatable, and consistent services that residents value and are satisfied with.
- This role will have specific responsibilities pertaining to the delivery of Housing Management functions to our customers and supporting the Inspector (estates) with inspections in times of planned or unplanned absence.
- Supporting the Inspector (Estates) to complete building checks (including Fire Risk Actions, Removal of items in communal areas).
- Meeting performance goals against KPIs and targets.
- Responding to enquiries from residents and other internal and external stakeholders as first point of contact and deal with a variety of tenancy management issues.
- Providing cover for other Tenancy Sustainment Officers and Inspector (Estates) to ensure consistency of service and to maintain a high level of resident satisfaction.
- Assist property services colleagues in engaging vulnerable / hard to engage residents with access
- Ensure tenancy management services delivered to residents living in Trafford and outside of the Trafford borough are of the same standard.
What You'll Bring:
- Good at building relationships with people and be able to communicate well with colleagues and residents.
- Able to problem solve and will pride yourself on your grit and determination. You’ll have a can-do attitude and be motivated by keeping promises to residents.
- Excellent time management skills along with the ability to manage different priorities whilst adhering to important deadlines.
- Committed to the provision of excellent customer service and be able to show initiative in a busy office environment while working as part of a team.
- Organised, flexible and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of using Microsoft office packages is also essential.
- Able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
