
Housing Options Assistant
Join us as a Housing Options Assistant and play a vital role in supporting vulnerable homeless individuals and rough sleepers in our community. Your work will help people maintain their accommodation and prevent homelessness, making a real difference in their lives and contributing to a safer, more supportive Lancaster.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll provide essential administrative and triage support to the Housing Options team, handling enquiries, booking appointments, and making referrals to support agencies. Your role includes managing data accurately, assisting with reports, processing payments, and ensuring all enquiries are dealt with promptly and sensitively. You’ll work closely with colleagues to identify client needs and help deliver effective housing solutions.

You have good communication skills, a caring approach, and the ability to relate to vulnerable groups with empathy and discretion. You’re organised, methodical, and comfortable using IT systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt. Salary range
- £25,185 - £26,403 per year
