About the role

We’re looking for a Homeless Reviews Support Officer to work with our Homeless Reviews Officer, supporting them with the statutory independent reviews function under S202 of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and the Homeless Reduction Act 2017. You’ll undertake enquiries, communicating with customers and maintaining accurate records of all review related work. You will also provide administrative support to the wider team as required.

We are looking for a confident person with excellent organisational and administrative skills and ideally with a basic knowledge of homelessness. You’ll also need excellent communication and customer service skills to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and their representatives.

You will need to be efficient and effective in extracting and recording information and competent IT, administration and time management skills are essential.

We are looking for a candidate who can work flexibly and independently and use their own initiative within a wider team environment and be calm and resilient when dealing with challenging situations.

We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible, as we may close this advert before the stated closing date if enough applications are received.

Additional information

This is a full time, 12-month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension, depending on government grant funding).

The successful candidate will be required to be office based a minimum of three days per week to meet the needs of the service.

Employee benefits

We offer a generous employee benefits package, with a range of discounts, benefits and wellbeing incentives to suit everyone.

Our way of working
