The Vacancy

We’re looking for a Hub Support Co-ordinator – Communications to join the Greater South East Net Zero Hub — someone who enjoys keeping things organised, communicating with people, and being at the centre of a busy, purpose-driven team. 💬⚡

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you could be coordinating stakeholder meetings and supporting communications campaigns, the next you could be helping manage website content, organising events, or supporting senior leaders across the Hub.

What we’re looking for:

✨ A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
✨ Someone highly organised with strong attention to detail
✨ Experience in administration, coordination or communications
✨ A proactive team player who can also work independently
✨ An interest in sustainability and making a difference

📝 Supporting statement
As part of your application, you’ll be asked to submit a supporting statement. The Company

Local government—but not as you know it!
We’re the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA), a bold and forward-thinking organisation created in 2017 through a landmark devolution deal with Government. That deal handed us the power and the funding to make decisions locally, for the people who live and work here.

We’re a partnership of seven councils working together with businesses, educators, health services, emergency responders and community groups to drive growth and improve lives across our region. Led by a directly elected Mayor and a Board of local leaders, we’re united by a clear mission - to get Cambridgeshire and Peterborough moving.

At the Combined Authority, we do things the CIVIL way—Collaboration, Integrity, Vision, Innovation, Leadership. We’re passionate about our people and proud of our culture. If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impact, grow your skills, and be part of something meaningful, you’ve come to the right place.
