We are seeking to appoint a proactive and organised Student Services Assistant to provide support across a busy and varied Student Services function.
This role combines first-line ICT support with administrative, data and examinations support duties, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of key school systems and processes. The successful candidate will act as an initial point of contact for routine ICT and operational queries whilst supporting wider student services administration.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, approachable and confident working across a range of administrative and technical tasks within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
ICT Support
- Provide first-line support for day-to-day ICT issues across the school
- Carry out basic troubleshooting checks before escalating more complex issues to the ICT Manager
- Triage ICT requests and respond or escalate as appropriate
- Support the setup, maintenance and organisation of ICT systems and hardware
Data, Assessment & Exams Support
- Assist with data, assessment and examinations administration as required
- Support data protection compliance processes and checks
- Assist with pupil assessment tracking and associated administration
- Support the preparation and organisation of examination materials and processes
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with school procedures
Administrative Support
- Carry out general administrative duties to support Student Services
- Assist with filing, communication and organisation of information
- Support day-to-day operational and organisational tasks
- Help ensure school systems and procedures are followed consistently

The successful candidate will be expected to:
- comply with safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection requirements;
- attend relevant meetings and training sessions; and
- undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the grading of the role as directed by the Head of Student Services or Headteacher.
