Job description
As a member of the implementation team you will be working in partnership to provide or enable support to those working in policing, through setting standards, sharing knowledge and good practice and supporting professional development. Contribute to improving knowledge and practice within a College professional community. Offer practical support for policing in line with the College strategies and business plan. Identify, design, develop and lead the delivery of relevant platforms to ensure the implementation and embedding of College Culture and Inclusion focussed Products and Services. Work in partnership with stakeholders to understand and represent their needs, share emerging practice and support collaborative activity. Drive consistency and understand the national picture in this area.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Stakeholders - Confidently engage and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to share information, resources and support. Invest time to develop a common focus and genuine positive team spirit where colleagues feel valued and respect one another, taking into account different individual needs, views, and ideas, championing inclusion and equality of opportunity for all. Be inquisitive and able to challenge constructively.
- Operational Delivery - Follow policies or procedures and use judgement to select the appropriate solution for any problems encountered. Identify, analyse, diagnose and review solutions, manage and resolve problems, issues and risks which may affect successful product delivery. Raise high impact and significant issues to senior product leads and resource manager (team leaders) for direction and support decision making to allow for the rapid replanning of work or unscheduled events. Understand own level of responsibility and empower others to make decisions where appropriate. Consult with others and where appropriate involve other stakeholders in decision making. Display confidence when making difficult decisions, even if they prove to be unpopular. Present strong recommendations in a timely manner outlining the consideration of other options, costs, benefits and risks.
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
- Level 5/6 qualification or equivalent or practical experience of working in specialist field to the required level, or equivalent experience
- Experience of building successful partnerships with key stakeholders to improve service delivery and implement new ways of working
- Experience of supporting and embedding change, able to influence and drive the right culture and behaviours
- Attention to detail to provide analysis, evidence and information to support recommendations for improvements
- Ability to communicate complex concepts concisely, fluently and persuasively
- Ability to inspire and influence to initiate change in behaviours
