Quarry Bank Primary School is a happy, nurturing and caring school that aims to provide the highest quality education for children from 3 to 11 years in a fantastic, modern building. We are a 1.5 form entry school with 45 children per year group.We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant who will initially work within our Blossom Inclusion Hub. Blossom is our specialist Early Years provision for a small group of nursery-aged children (3–4 years old) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will provide nurturing, personalised support that enables every child to develop, learn and thrive in a safe and inclusive environment.This position is set within a caring, dedicated and friendly team who support one another to be their best. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, knowledgeable and highly capable Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with SEND and making a meaningful difference during the earliest stages of their education.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
- Puts children at the heart of everything they do.
- Is passionate about supporting children with additional and complex SEND needs.
- Has experience of working with nursery-aged or Early Years children.
- Is able to implement effective provision, interventions and personalised learning opportunities.
- Understands the importance of nurturing relationships and creating an enabling environment for young children.

- Is enthusiastic, energetic and creative.
- Is self-motivated and committed to their own professional development.
- Has the confidence to support and advise other practitioners.
