- Job description
Woodwind Teacher
Required from November 2026
The East Riding Music Service is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Woodwind Teacher (up to full-time) from November 2026. The ability to teach keyboard in addition to woodwind would be desirable.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality tuition through individual, small-group and, where appropriate, whole-class teaching. The successful candidate may have opportunities to contribute to these activities. Participation in some of these programmes may involve evening and weekend work, which is paid in addition to contracted hours.
Applications are welcomed from experienced instrumental teachers, early career teachers and skilled musicians seeking to enter the profession. Appropriate support and professional development will be available.
Applicants must hold a current full driving licence. A mileage allowance is paid to support travel requirements. The appointment will be made up to a maximum of Point 6 of the Main Pay Scale, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
