About the team

As an Intalink Enhanced Partnership Project Officer, you will play an essential part in delivering and developing the Intalink Enhanced Partnership within the Integrated Passenger Transport Unit. Working at the heart of a dynamic and forward‑thinking team, you will support the coordination and management of multiple partnership projects, covering the Intalink Plan and Scheme, ticketing initiatives, and communications activities.

Collaborating closely with Service Delivery Leads and a wide range of stakeholders, you will take ownership of technical tasks, consultations, and project support that directly influence how the Partnership performs and evolves. Your work will help drive forward the ambitions of the Partnership, ensuring services meet the needs of passengers and reflect the ongoing goals of improving accessibility, reliability, and integration across the transport network.

About the role

Project Management: To provide support to team leaders in various projects within the partnership. To help prepare project documentation and project plans. Monitor and report progress against KPI’s within the Intalink Enhanced Partnership Plan and Scheme and Bus Service Improvement Plan

Communication & Building Relationships: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders and provide support to communications activity relating to the partnership and bus service improvement plan

Research & Reporting: Undertake research utilising new technology and using project management tools available. Analyse information and data, produce reports and highlighting relevant issues and concerns which relate to the needs of the partnership. Compiling strategic documents for briefing members / panel papers

Monitor & Review: Support and contribute to cross service projects and county council priorities. Ensure the right measurements are in place, monitor, review and evaluate progress throughout the project.

About you

The candidate will need to be degree qualified in relevant subject plus number of years' experience in a similar role OR significant vocational experience, demonstrating development through involvement in a series of progressively demanding relevant roles.

Along with the following essential criteria:

  • Project management skills and the ability to simultaneously work on a number of different projects working to agreed timescales
  • Detailed understanding of public transport and bus partnerships
  • Demonstrates effective organisational skills and prioritises activities to meet tight deadlines
  • Working with a number of stakeholders
  • Undertakes research and analysis using best practice and delivers appropriate solutions and recommendations
  • Clear decisive and persuasive communication skills both written and verbal demonstrating an ability to present thoughts and ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated high quality written reporting and verbal communications skills with accurate English spelling and grammar
  • Excellent inter-personal and team working skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to pro-actively manage own workload
