Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all. We are looking for an IT Contract Manager to manage the IT procurement life cycle.

    The role

    This role will be responsible for all IT Contracts in Customer, Technology and Data Service (CTDS), ensuring effective contract management and supplier performance is maintained to achieve quality and best value from all procurement.

    You will plan and lead on all end to end procurement activity through requirements gathering, market engagement, development of pricing schedules, evaluating and contract award, working in collaboration with Corporate Procurement, Finance and other departments to complete all procurement.

    You will lead on the supplier relationship management across CTDS and develop strategic relationship with key vendors and ensuring delivery meets agreed SLA, milestone and road map.

    This role offers flexible working, combination of office-based and home working, as required by the service. Main office base will be Crowndale Centre and 5 Pancras Square.

    About you
    To be successful in this role you must have strong knowledge and background of IT Procurement, with good experience of contract management and supplier relationship management.

    Naturally consultative in your approach, you will have exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer expectations and ensure effective communications with colleagues and customers throughout the service. Influencing stakeholders and suppliers to achieve best value from all procurement and contracts.

    You will also have the ability to work proactively and flexibly and be familiar with the management and maintenance of large data sets including but not limited to contract data.
