This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Services team and work with the adaptations and rehousing teams across Waverley & Guildford. We need a motivated and well organised professional to enhance and grow the services provided to disabled persons in both boroughs.

The team administers renovation grants and disabled facilities grants, as well as adaptations in Guildford’s own council stock. There is an in-house Home Improvement agency, Care and Repair and a dedicated handyperson service.

You will manage our small team of housing Occupational Therpist’s and bathing advisor, carry out home assessments, order major adaptations, give expert advice on transfers, new build housing schemes and generally provide a source of expertise on disability issues.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of Office and home working.

Please note this role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
