Ideally hold a SEND qualification or have relevant experience supporting SEND provision (desirable).
Have the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies.
Be organised, proactive and able to use initiative.
Have an understanding of strategies for managing behaviour effectively.
Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils and families.
Be adaptable and reflective in their practice.
Have a strong belief that every child is unique and can achieve their full potential.
Be friendly, reliable and have a good sense of humour.
In return we can offer:
A clear professional development pathway towards becoming a SENCo.
Dedicated non-class-based time to develop SEND experience and leadership skills.
A highly supportive leadership team committed to staff development and wellbeing.
A hard-working and enthusiastic team committed to meeting the needs of our community.
A proactive and supportive governing body.
A high-quality learning environment.
Wonderful pupils who are eager to learn.
If you feel you have the drive, experience and ambition for this rewarding and developmental role, we would love to hear from you.
