Salary: Competitive

Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours a week, 3 days a week (Mon, Tues & Weds)

Weeks: Term Time 35wks (inclusive of 5 INSET days)

Founded in 1918, Bickley Park School is an IAPS Independent co-educational day school for children aged 2 ½ to 13, with over 300 pupils on roll and we are proud to be part of the Sevenoaks Family of Schools. The school is situated in London's greenest London Borough, on the fringes of Kent and with excellent train links to central London. The Pre-Preparatory and Preparatory sites are located three hundred metres apart on Page Heath Lane in Bromley.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced Teaching Assistant to support access to learning for all pupils and provide general assistance to the Early Years Team.

This is a part-time position, 22.5 hours a week, 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, 35 weeks per year.

Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is required for this role.

Teaching Assistants support access to learning for pupils and provide general assistance to the teacher in the management of pupils. Teaching Assistants are also required to contribute to the wider success of the school. All Teaching Assistants are responsible for supporting effective pastoral care to support pupils' social and emotional progress as well as their learning. They are also required to contribute and be involved in extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school community.

This role requires someone who can support children’s learning across a range of settings and lessons. These may include Outdoor learning, Forest School sessions and swimming lessons.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for supporting the pre-prep library, maintaining the space and ensuring books are returned & processed via the library app.
