Landscape Maintenance Supervisor

Amber Valley Borough Council is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Landscape Maintenance Supervisor.

This is a leadership role where you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality services across the Borough Council’s parks, recreation grounds, sports pitches, and other public spaces - ensuring they are safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.

Your Role:

• Assist with the management of grounds maintenance, sports pitches, landscaping, and street cleansing operations.
• Respond to issues such as fly-tipping, vandalism, and safety hazards with practical, timely solutions.
• Manage the replacement and installation of street name plates throughout the Borough.
• Co-ordinate the annual litter clearance of the A38 within the Borough.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and council policies.
• Appoint and monitor contractors and maintain inspection schedules.
• Devise and implement work programmes to assist the Council in achieving its aims and objectives of its Climate Change and Biodiversity Strategies.

You will need to be educated to a senior level with experience in working in a grounds maintenance or street cleansing environment.
