Do you have experience of working with learners/clients as a practitioner, adviser, coach or mentor?
The Learning, Skills and Workforce Development Team are seeking a Learner Experience Improvement Officer (Welfare) to ensure that our learners/clients receive a high quality learner experience as well as safeguarding and welfare support across all delivery situations. This role will be responsible for providing information advice and guidance, learning support, induction, training and learning & assessment to support them to benefit from educational opportunities, remove barriers and achieve their goals to progress in life and/or work.
We offer employability support, teaching, training, learning and assessment activities across a wide range of curricula including qualification-based learning, community learning and additional employability support. We want to ensure that all learners are well supported with their educational, social and emotional needs in order to achieve their goals.
You will provide effective support and strategies to assist learners to remove barriers and ensure their safeguarding, welfare and well-being. You will collaborate with other staff and external agencies to ensure the right support is in place and learners are safe and well. You will identify and promote opportunities to raise awareness and deepen understanding of safeguarding, keeping safe and secure including online, good health and wellbeing including to benefit both learners and staff.
