Tall Oaks from Little Acorns Grow đŸŒ±

Broad Oak Primary School is looking for a caring, committed and kind Level 2 Learning Assistant (+SEN) to join our team initially on a fixed term basis until August 2027. You’ll be working alongside one of our experienced SENCos and some of our fantastic LSAs to support children with SEND.

This role would suit both new and experienced LSAs. For us, it’s not about how long you’ve been in the role – it’s about finding the right person. We want someone who really cares, who will build strong relationships with our children and families and who will help our children grow in confidence, independence and happiness.

You’ll work across our two inclusion bases, supporting children with EHCPs and playing a big part in their day-to-day learning, development and wellbeing. This is an exciting time in our school's SEND journey as we expect to open our LA SEND Unit in Autumn 2027.

We are looking for someone who:

📖 Has a real passion for helping every child shine in their own way
đŸ€ Builds warm, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
🎯 Is committed to helping every child do their very best
đŸŒ± Is resilient, adaptable and takes each day as it comes
😊 Is happy to get stuck into learning and play – expect mess, laughter and lots of fun!
đŸ‘„ Is a great team player and enjoys being part of school life
