Initial 12 mth Contract to be reviewed depending on Funding
32.5 hours per week / 46 weeks per year

Hope Primary School seeks to appoint a member of staff who is committed to high standards and outcomes for every young person in our school.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Learning Mentor level 1 who is;
- Motivated and able to work independently showing high levels of initiative.
- A good communicator who can relate well to children, parents, staff and other professionals.
- Committed to helping children achieve their potential, particularly focusing on removing barriers to learning and being proactive in promoting and supporting attendance.
- Provide pastoral care and support to pupils for their emotional and physical wellbeing, encouraging positive attitudes and behaviour around school.
- Co-ordinate and deliver intervention strategies and packages of support for vulnerable pupils
- Establish good relationships with children, parents and families and further develop links with the wider community
The successful candidate will be expected to be experienced, to have good interpersonal skills, excellent attendance and punctuality record and a good standard of education. There are opportunities for professional development through the school’s excellent CPD programme.
