LEARNING SUPERVISOR
SCP 12-17, Pay Grade F, £28,598 - £31,022 pro rata
(actual salary £25,298 - £27,442 per annum)
36 hours per week / 46 weeks per year (includes 5 inset days and a workback element) (Monday 8.00am-4.30pm and Tuesday to Friday 8.00-3.30pm)
Kirkby High School are seeking to appoint a learning supervisor to supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Be passionate about supporting education
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the role
- Be flexible and adaptable in a busy educational environment
- Have the ability to work well in a team and independently
- Have a working knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Have the ability to relate to children and young people
- Be able to inspire, influence, challenge and motivate, leading by example
- Have a level 2 qualification in English and maths
