Learning Support Assistant
Hours: 29 hours per week, term time only (Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 3:30pm)
Salary: APTC 2 points 3 - 4. £20,348 - £20,624 per annum actual salary, based on £27,729 - £28,125 full time equivalent
Contract: Permanent - subject to probationary period
Start date: From 1st September
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an 11-18 Roman Catholic Girls’ School which was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in November 2013 for the third consecutive time.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful applicant would work under the overall direction of the SENCO.
The successful applicant will need to provide in-class support for pupils with a wide variety of learning, behavioural or personal needs, be prepared to use their initiative and be well-organised. The successful candidate would also be required to deliver Literacy and Numeracy sessions so previous experience in this area would be desirable. Candidates should have experience or be willing to train in the delivery of interventions for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
