Starting hourly rate of £13.85 plus £1.67 holiday pay. Rate is dependent on experience.

Supported Learning
The Learning Support Assistant will be based at either Maida Vale or Willesden and will be supporting young adults with learning difficulties and/ or disabilities.
The successful candidate must be willing to fully participate in activities alongside the students and support them in all lessons. You will need to support students with personal care needs and mobility difficulties which include physical support (e.g. stairs, getting on minibus), transfers (e.g. from wheelchair to toilet) and using a hoist.
UCG are looking for individuals who have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be patient and maintain a positive attitude towards students, with an understanding of procedures for safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
You will have good communication skills including the ability to use clear language and communicate and listen effectively, also to provide an excellent level of additional support to individuals and groups of students on the autistic spectrum, with profound and complex needs or with challenging behaviour needs. You will have the opportunity to under go training and develop specialist practice.
