Salary: £29,436 - £29,856
Actual Salary: £20,599 - £20,853
Hours: 30 hrs per week (FTE: 69.84%). Mon – Fri, 38 weeks per year (term time)

We are now looking to appoint a passionate and inspiring LSA to join Benhurst Primary School.
Job Purpose:
The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) is one member of a team of professionals that will include teachers and other teaching assistants. The team works together to care for and educate the pupils in the school. The LSA makes a specific contribution to their specific subject area and / or curriculum contribution to the school teaching and learning programme.
You will:
- Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our pupils
- Supervise and support pupils for specified periods including break and lunch time
- Support the vision and values of our school
- Inspire pupils with a passion for learning
- An understanding of specific learning needs and styles to differentiate support to pupils
- The ability to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking
- A desire to help all pupils succeed
- Compassion towards the needs of the pupils
- The ability to exchange verbal information clearly and sensitively with pupils and adults
- The ability to work with a range of colleagues
- Work collaboratively across the school.
