Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service are recruiting learner support assistants to work for us in various locations across Derbyshire. These roles will be supporting individuals and groups, including young people aged 14 to 19, adult learners aged 19+ and those with additional support needs.

We specifically require the following;

  • A learning support assistant to work for 2 days per week, Monday and Tuesday at the Youth Hub in Cotmanhay from April to March, supporting 16 to 24 year olds with career planning and next steps.
  • A learning support assistant for 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Chatsworth from September until the end of June, supporting a young adult in a work experience setting.
  • Learning support assistants across all provision to work up to 3 days a week at various locations across the County, including High Peak, Chesterfield, Bolsover, Clay Cross, Derbyshire Dales, Cotmanhay and Swadlincote.

We are keen to recruit applicants with experience and interest in supporting learners to engage, progress, and achieve. We offer relevant training opportunities when in post.
