About the team
This role provides an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join the Fleet Management Services Team at a time that we move towards a more sustainable fleet in support or our wider organisations ambition to be carbon neutral by 2030. Fleet Services manage a fleet of some 150 lease cars and 450 commercial vehicles. This role undertakes the administrative and reporting works associated with the lease cars on the fleet
About the role
- Ensure the processes and procedures for the provision of lease cars to HCC staff are adhered to.
- Provide quotes for vehicles as requested and ensure that the prospective lease car drivers fully understand the contractual implications associated with taking lease car.
- Work closely with Lease Car Financial Team ensuring that the information they require is supplied.
- Regularly review, agree, and implement changes to the processes and procedures ensuring that these changes do not affect the integrity of the system. Ensure that paperwork associated with the provision of lease cars is completed and retained. Ensure that lease car drivers are fully aware of their responsibilities under the Lease Car Policy. Administer the provision of hire cars, MOT and renewal reminders and all other areas where client liaison is required.
- Ensure that Jaama is continually up to date and that the integrity of the information within is not compromised.
- Update insurance database, adding & deleting as necessary
- Manage the HCC, Greyfleet and lease car driver licence checking policy.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of contract specifications ensuring a good working relationship is maintained with suppliers and customers.
- Movement of cars on site and occasions where collection of cars offsite is required.
About you
Essential:
- A good general level of education, including the use of software packages such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with colleagues, while being equally comfortable with customers.
- A keen attention to detail with the ability to input, manage update database and excel spreadsheets, reconcile issues and produce information and reports.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of SAP and Jaama Finance Data Systems

Driving required
