Title: Lettings Officer for the West region

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract till September 2027 - Full Time – 35 hours.

Salary: £32,881 to £36,069 per annum (London Weighted) depending on experience, plus ECU allowance if policy requirements are met.

Grade: 6

Reporting Office: Stratford, London, E15

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office

Join our Empty Homes and Lettings Team at L&Q:

The Empty Homes and Lettings Team are looking for an experienced member of staff to join them in the role of Voids Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to our residents . The Voids Coordinator reports into the Voids Team Leader and has a close connection to the Voids Supervisors and Managers, Lettings Team and Contractors as well as regular communication with other internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

Resident satisfaction is of major importance to L&Q and we expect our Voids Co-ordinators to have excellent customer service. Putting the resident at the heart of everything they do to ensure that our residents have a safe and comfortable home that they can be proud to live in. You will have an empathic approach, strong communication skills and good problem solving skills.

Your impact in the role:

As a Letting's Officer you will be responsible for letting the Trust’s homes, we are looking for applicants who are passionate in delivering excellent customer service to all customers they interact with, whether this be existing residents, prospective residents, or our stakeholders.

The individual must be self-motivated and confident in taking ownership of driving efficiency to let the Trust’s properties within the agreed timescales whilst adhering to our policies and procedures.

The ability to produce results and deal with a demanding workload means that the successful candidate needs to be able to work under pressure and prioritise their work effectively.

What you'll bring:

We are looking for someone who has a commercial mind set and ideally has experience in dealing with the allocations and lettings process whilst demonstrating excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to learn the use of business systems.

Our customers are the most important part of our business and as a member of the Housing Management team, it is vital that you display passion and commitment to lead and deliver an excellent service every time. This will be measured against the high standards and values that we set across the organisation and department.

It is essential that candidates are a Car Owner/Driver.

Previous lettings experience is essential.
