We are seeking a caring, flexible Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our SEND Additional Classrooms (Resource Base). Working under the direction of the Resource Base Lead Teacher, you will help pupils with complex needs to access learning and develop independence.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (39 weeks; 8:30am - 3:30pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Start: November 2025
Key responsibilities:
Provide individual and small-group support and implement EHCP outcomes as directed.
Support communication (including non-verbal pupils) using visual supports/Makaton etc.
Assist pupils with personal care.
Work as part of a team and use initiative to support the needs of all pupils.
About You:
Experience supporting EYFS/KS1 pupils with SEND; calm, patient and a strong team player. Willing to undertake training (e.g. communication approaches, moving/handling, basic medical).
