The Governors and Headteacher of Bedford Drive Primary School are looking to recruit an exceptional Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant with a focus on SEND.
The successful candidates will:
Have a level 2/3 qualification;
Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children, especially those with SEND/EHCP.
Work collaboratively with staff to deliver the curriculum;
Have an understanding of and a commitment to Inclusion;
Have the ability to work as part of a team, but also use own initiative when required;
Have an understanding of strategies for managing behaviour;
Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with pupils;
Adapt to changing circumstances in a positive manner;
Have a friendly, fair and caring nature, reliable and dependable;
Have a good sense of humour.
