The governors, staff and pupils of Redgate Community Primary School are looking for a committed, talented and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner with experience of working with children under 3 years, to join our successful and friendly nursery team. This is a fixed term contract for 1 year in the first instance.

We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner who:


  • Has a flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Has experience of working with children under 3 years
  • Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and a good working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Has the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
  • Is motivated , passionate and reflective about their work
  • Has a commitment to professional development and the skills to engage positively with staff, parents/carers and families

    Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)

Salary range
