
Level 3 Teaching Assistants
Salary range: Teaching Assistant Level 3 – Band F, scp 12-17 (£24,816 - £26,919 per annum)
South Wirral High School is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school committed to providing exceptional education and support to all students. We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students requiring additional support. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have complex needs, including those requiring intimate care and tube feeding, and must be comfortable and willing to support these aspects of care as part of their role.
Key Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience supporting students with SEND in a secondary school setting
Willingness to provide intimate care and tube feeding where required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A nurturing and patient approach to supporting young people

You:
The applicant should have recent and relevant experience in a similar role or experience in the pastoral care of young people with SEND in another sector. You will be working with students providing additional support to them during school hours. Assisting the learning of Key Stage 3 and 4 students, you will be working with a variety of students in the classroom, as well as on a one-to-one basis when required.
