Are you passionate about reading, literacy and helping young people succeed?

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and inspiring Librarian & Literacy Learning Support professional to lead our Learning Resource Centre (LRC) and play a key role in promoting a culture of reading across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who believes in the power of reading to transform lives and who enjoys working directly with young people to develop their literacy, confidence and love of learning.

The successful candidate will manage and develop our Learning Resource Centre as a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive learning environment, ensuring students have access to a diverse and engaging range of resources. They will lead initiatives to promote reading for pleasure, organise author visits and literacy events, support targeted literacy interventions, and work closely with colleagues to raise reading standards across the school.

The role also includes supporting students with literacy and EAL needs, training student librarians and reading ambassadors, running enrichment activities such as book clubs and reading challenges, and contributing to wider school initiatives including student induction and baseline assessments for new starters.
