
Library Assistant
Job Description
Salary range: Grade 2 £28,617 - £29,436 p.a. plus fantastic benefits
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Croydon
Working Pattern:
The post will have a set working pattern working full days and will include alternate Saturdays. Libraries are currently open 10-6 Monday to Friday and 9-5 Saturday.
Location: This is a frontline role in libraries and will include some outreach activities. Staff to will be required travel to any of Croydon’s libraries.
About the Role We are looking for people who have a passion for customer service and for working as part of a team delivering Croydon’s library services directly to our customers. This will include providing high quality customer service, supporting the delivery of activities and events and assisting customers with accessing online information and other resources. You will also be promoting all services to a wide range of customers.

- Enthusiastic in your approach to engagement with customers of all ages
