Roles That Matter
Based in Haydock library, this essential supervisor role will directly supervise a team of library assistants and oversee the planning, preparation and delivery of a wide ranging events programme for all ages.
Library Supervisors deliver class visits, Read & Rhyme Time and Baby RhymeTime and train and supervise library assistants to undertake the functions of their role.
Library supervisors support the library book stock and performance management of the service including development and promotion of the library service and vital partnership work within the local community of Haydock.
Library Supervisors are required to work at all Library Service points across the borough depending on service need and be committed to equality of service and high standards of customer care.
St Helens Libraries provide a full induction programme with access to a wide range of training and development and an opportunity to be part of an excellent, award winning library service.
