Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join the Local Land Charges (LLC) Programme team at HM Land Registry (HMLR). The programme is responsible for migrating and transforming local authority LLC data and services to HMLR's digital register. As part of the Communications and Stakeholder Team, you will plan and deliver LLC events and activities across the country, promoting the LLC programme. You will engage a range of internal and external stakeholders, including customer sectors relevant to LLC. You will be responsible for managing, hosting and presenting at events to support the LLC Programme, HMLR Business Strategy 2025+ and the LLC Engagement Strategy. You will support and educate stakeholders on the migration of local authority LLC services to HMLR's digital register, the use of the upfront digital data and recording the associated benefits.Job description
Main duties:
- Act as a liaising officer between the LLC Programme and Corporate Communications, ensuring consistency and joined up working between teams
- Build relationships with customers identified as being strategically important and secure leads for the Stakeholder Team and Innovation Colleagues
- Manage the customer relationship management (CRM) tool reporting on progress of opportunities pipelines
- Gather insight from customers and stakeholders to develop the LLC Programmes, understanding of their needs
- Produce regular reporting on official search volumes, action planning and remedial action and take proactive steps with customers to address any issues arising
- Work collaboratively with LLC colleagues to support delivery and implementation of the Engagement Strategy. Identify and anticipate issues and opportunities before they arise; manage and engage appropriate programme resource. Represent the customer’s needs back into the LLC Programme
- Contribute to Local Land Charges account management and marketing development.
- Explain HMLR priorities and concerns to customers and stakeholders.
- Act as escalation point if required for colleagues within the team, and ensure timely escalation of issues to the Customer Delivery Manager
- Represent the LLC programme at customer events and conferences
- Design and deliver effective social media activity to support LLC Programme activities, campaigns and events. To contribute to the shaping and development of the Stakeholder Team, supporting the introduction of appropriate policies and governance

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have experience gathering insight on customers and analysing data to make evidence-based decisions to support programme aims
- Hold a strong track record of working effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders. Be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues at all grades and seniorities, both internally and externally
- Be able to influence key stakeholders to adopt recommended approaches and move toward a common goal
- Have proven written and verbal communication skills
- Be confident in speaking and presenting to audiences, externally and internally
- Be able to quickly grasp and solve complex issues, considering other points of view and ensuring outcomes are realistic and achievable
- Be able to challenge assumptions and clearly articulate your concerns and suggested solutions
- Be able to prioritise own work and understands how it interacts with the rest of the delivery team
- Be able to work at pace to a set of changing requirements and/or priorities
