About the Role
As a valued member of our Local Land Charges team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting property transactions, maintaining essential Local Authority databases and providing excellent customer services. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills and advance your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the Local Land and Property Gazetteer, including street naming and numbering requests.
- Administer the Local Land Charges Register, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and processing official searches efficiently and accurately.
- Respond to conveyancing enquiries from solicitors and the public, providing clear and timely information about property or land matters.
- Support the administration and decision-making process for Assets of Community Value nominations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organisational skills and experience working with computerised databases.
- Confidence using Microsoft applications and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to interpret maps, property boundaries, and use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently with both colleagues and external customers.
Work Arrangements:

Salary range
- £31,537 - £33,699 per year
