    The post’s salary attracts a market supplement of 8.5% per month   

    Secondment Opportunity /Fixed Term Contract and Full Time until 31 March 2029.

    About the Team:

    The Planning Policy team sits within the Planning & Sustainability division, and, through the development of positive, innovative planning policy and guidance, plays an instrumental role in delivering the priorities and ambitions of the Borough Plan. It is an exciting time to join the team as we embark on the preparation of a new Local Plan and a review of the CIL Charging Schedule - you will manage the preparation of these key planning documents through adopting council policy, ensuring they respond to planning reforms, meet legislative requirements and deliver wider council objectives.

    About the Role:

    You will be someone who has excellent project management skills and can motivate and support others to develop positive, innovative planning policy and guidance. You will have a strong record of delivering in planning policy with a positive outlook and the ability to work well with internal and external partners.

    We operate on a hybrid work model, providing employees greater flexibility and opportunity to work from home. Office working would be a minimum of 2 days per week at our modern offices in the heart of the Brixton Town Centre, less than 5 minutes’ walk from the Underground and Overground train stations.
