Introduction

The Lewisham Safeguarding Children Partnership aims to ensure that all professionals work with our community and together to keep children and young people safe, we hold one another to account and ensure that safeguarding remains a priority.

You will need to have strong organisational skills, good written and verbal skills. You will be able to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met. You will also need a good knowledge of safeguarding policies and practice and an understanding of the agencies who work together to safeguard children.

What’s the role?

This role involves supporting the work of the Lewisham Safeguarding Children Partnership including its Executive Partnership meetings and sub – groups, supporting the effective operation of meetings and working groups.

Ensuring that the multi – agency arrangements are effective and take full account of current legislation and guidance and National and local learning.

Facilitating and co – ordinating projects in conjunction with sub – group Chairs to deliver the strategic priorities of the LSCP.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a highly professional team player and problem solver.

We require someone who can work collaboratively with people at different levels in organisations, who has energy and ambition to improve outcomes for children and young people.

You will be able to work with complex data, absorb and analyse information to support action planning and practice development

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Salary

£49,155 to £51,228 Per annum (PO3)

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
