Are you a creative communicator with a passion for writing? We’re looking for a proactive and creative Marketing and Design Assistant (Website and Digital) to join our team for a 12-month fixed term contract, supporting the rewrite and launch of up to 11 websites, including those of the National Civil War Centre, the Palace Theatre, our Tourism destination sites and more to create clear, engaging, and impactful websites that connect our residents with these fantastic facilities.
In this exciting role, you’ll work closely with the Marketing team to bring the District Council’s websites to life by crafting beautiful content, amplifying our fantastic facilities and helping shape public understanding and use of them. We would love to hear from anyone who has a passion for and / or experience of creative writing and is keen to learn about and support the entire process of building websites from project initiation though to launch. To help with writing the content, you’ll need to undertake research, have a keen eye for photography and video creation (with appropriate training provided) and be keen to undertake design work required for the websites during the build and launch phases.
